My musical career begun when I was at primary school and has continued ever since with no break as I have loved it that much. I begun my learning on the saxophone and have since picked up the flute and clarinet as not only a challenge but also so I can play in stage productions.
I have been fortunate enough during my time playing to have travelled across the world and played at locations including Chengdu China who were hosts to the youth bands festival. Additionally, I was also a part of a stage band tour over America; venues included Universal Studios, Disney Land, Knott’s Berry Farm and Pier 39 .
Currently I am a student at Melbourne University Completing a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Construction Management. There, I am part of the Engineering Music Society and play first chair alto saxophone in their concert band. My greatest achievement there is being asked by the conductor to perform an alto saxophone concerto with orchestra. The music was called Piece En Forme de Habanera and consists of solo saxophone supported by the orchestra underneath for three minutes and ten seconds.
Music is a big part of my life and I enjoy it that way. Along with playing flute saxophone and clarinet in a community band in the last year, I also began small time teaching to sharing all the tips and tricks that I have picked up along my journey.
